Discovering Lisbon, Cascais & Sintra
A leading event agency for meetings and incentives from Switzerland approached ECMeetings to help coordinate a program in June for 38 incentive travellers. The client was looking for an engaging program with typical local highlights, visiting the city of Lisbon and discovering the natural side of Sintra and Cascais with a good mix of relaxing moments, unique sea-related activities, and good quality, local dining experiences.

The Golden Triangle – Lisbon, Sintra & Cascais
The capital city Lisbon with its golden beaches of Cascais and the UNESCO World Heritage Site Sintra are only 30 minutes away from each other and are often referred to as the Golden Triangle.
Upon arrival at Lisbon International Airport, guests were welcomed to Portugal and accompanied to Lisbon city centre for a tasting tour of the city with fun transportation; visiting tucked away places and popular sites of the city, while stopping for some typical local delicacies along the way. At a market in the heart of the city, guests enjoyed lunch and some free time, before heading to their hotel in Cascais.
The following day was spent discovering the stunning parks, beaches and reserves of Sintra with various cultural and culinary stops, including an outdoor lunch in the vineyards.
In idyllic setting between picturesque cliffs and full views of the Atlantic Ocean a special dinner was served with the freshest produce from the sea.
The next day was spent exploring the stunning beaches and coastline of Cascais with various activities on the beach and out at sea.
In the evening guests were accompanied on a walk to a nearby ocean side restaurant for a typical Portuguese dinner.
Ending the visit with a sense of adrenaline, guests cruised highspeed from Cascais to Lisbon for their departure. Lunch was served at a popular hotspot in the city. The restaurant offers contemporary Portuguese cuisine with a funky twist, making this an ideal place for a farewell lunch.
