Travel to Malta is re-opening on 1st July

Following the re-opening of restaurants and hotels in Malta on 1st June, the Malta International Airport and the ports will be re-opening to tourism on 1st July. The first list of destinations was announced and include the following:

Germany
Austria
Switzerland
Luxembourg
Hungary 
Iceland
Norway
Finland
Denmark
Slovakia
Lithuania
Latvia
Estonia
Israel
Cyprus
Czech Republic

Travel to and from Sicily and Sardinia will also resume. 
Further 'safe' destinations will be announced in the coming weeks.

Travelers arriving from the confirmed list of countries will not be swabbed on arrival to Malta and will not be requested to quarantine for 2 weeks.

Destination Management Companies (DMC) and government are currently working on guidelines to welcome back meeting and incentive business travel to The Maltese Islands. We will keep you posted on these developments and will announce all measures within the next few weeks.
