In a time when destinations for meetings, incentives, and corporate events can be browsed and booked with a click, Malta is a place that demands to be experienced first-hand. That’s exactly what this destination showcase set out to highlight. Together with our valued partners Mundus Representation and the elegant Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa, we welcomed a group of UK event professionals to discover the true character of Malta and Gozo — through the people, the stories, the flavours, and the kind of meaningful experiences that no screen can convey.

Day 1: A Warm Welcome to Malta

Touching down on Maltese soil, our guests were greeted with Mediterranean charm and warm spring sunshine. Their home for the journey: the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa — a serene retreat located beside the President’s Palace. With 147 beautifully appointed rooms, expansive gardens, a world-class spa, and versatile meeting facilities for up to 450 delegates, this iconic hotel set the perfect tone for the days ahead.

Day 2: Purposeful Connection & Flavourful Discovery

The second day offered a perfect blend of purpose and play. After a leisurely breakfast, guests embarked on a meaningful CSR initiative — a guided sea clean-up by kayak in the crystal-clear waters of St. Paul’s Bay.

Whenever possible, we collaborate with Mark Galea Pace of the Coast is Clear Foundation for these experiences. Not only is it a fantastic way to explore Malta’s stunning coves and caves, but it also supports the ongoing mission to protect and preserve our coastlines — a cause close to our hearts as an island nation in the middle of the Mediterranean. The initiative is as fun as it is impactful, especially with Mark’s four-legged co-captain always along for the ride!

From the sea to the table, the next stop brought tradition to life with an interactive Ftira-making workshop at Diar Il Bniet, followed by a home-style lunch featuring local produce and warm hospitality.

After some well-earned downtime at the Corinthia Palace’s luxurious spa, the group stepped back in time with a walking tour of Mdina, the Silent City — ending the day with dinner under the stars and a spirited Eurovision nightcap back at the hotel.

Day 3: Sunday Funday — Gozo Edition

No Maltese journey is complete without discovering Gozo, our peaceful sister island just a short boat ride away. From buggy adventures through scenic landscapes to visiting the Salt Pans, Mixta Cave, and the historic Cittadella, the group was immersed in Gozitan heritage and nature.

A standout moment? A farm-to-fork picnic overlooking the sea, featuring local delicacies and Maltese wine — the kind of authentic touch and heartfelt hospitality that creates lasting memories of a destination.

Back in Malta, the day wrapped up with a sophisticated dinner at Chophouse, offering unbeatable views of Valletta’s illuminated skyline — the perfect setting to reflect on a day well spent.

Day 4: A Thoughtful Farewell

Our final morning was all about slowing down and taking it in. Guests enjoyed a peaceful, private spa experience at Corinthia Palace — a quiet moment of rest and renewal before the busy days ahead at IMEX Frankfurt.

Before departure, we took time for one last stroll through Valletta, blending cultural discovery with practical inspiration through site visits to standout venues — and of course, a stop for freshly baked Pastizzi, a true local favourite.

As our guests headed to the airport, they left not just with inspiration and ideas, but with a deeper connection to the destination. Because Malta isn’t just a place to host events — it’s a place that stays with you.
